As the stage curtains parted, Miss O had a vision of San Salvador himself inside a theater and she saw the colors of a magnificent production swirl before her, a cosmic opera unfolding. Posh was there in the black hooded robe of a Nazarene priestess...and a woman dressed in dark armor was present, as well, a wounded knight at her feet. Then Olivia fell against d'Anger, totally overcome by the experience.
"Holy Persephone..." she murmured to no one. "What the Hades was that about?"
"Today is the day when the veil between the two worlds is the thinnest..." d'Anger whispered, wise beyond his years. "Not that I'm telling you anything new...here, have some coffee...what did you see?"
Before Olivia could answer, Anaton, dressed as the magician Dali, appeared and began his lines:

La mort i la guerra
La sal de la terra
(Death and war
the salt of the earth)
Being God Being God Being God
is not a blasphemy
on the contrary, it is that possibility
by which God truly forms part
of our world of substance,
not merely of the soul, but of matter, too.
Chorus
Confessio et pulchritudo in conspectu ejus
Santitas et magnificentia
In santificatione ejus
Cantate domino canticum novum
Cantate domino omnis terra
(Glory and splendour surround him;
saintliness and magnificence shine
in his sanctuary.
Sing a new canticle to the Lord
Let all the earth sing unto Him.)
