these somewhat-true-life
episodes pay homage to
those Classical prophetesses
whose oracular writings were
supposedly destroyed in Rome
one fateful Christmas day.

Each volume represents the
spirit of a Sybil:
Agrippine, Samian,
Cumaean, Delphic,
Egyptian, Libyan, Persian,
Phrygian and Tiburtine.
